A highly regarded design due to its timeless, minimal aesthetic and function, Ray and Charles Eames' LCW chair, was due for an update. Why Do Chairs Have Legs? is an exploration of 20 remixes of the chair to expand its functionality, crossover to other cultures, and present itself in a new context. With countless reproductions and copies in existence, why just do a cover when you can remix or create a mash-up?
