The Grid is a true slice of Indiana landscape, celebrating the state's longstanding importance in agriculture, as well as its recent commitment to renewable energy.

The playing surface is a collage of low-pile outdoor carpet tiles of various hues and patterns, evoking a patchwork of agrarian plots. Much like Indiana itself, the surface is mostly flat, with an occasional rolling hill. A relentless array of motorized wind turbines dots The Grid, comically conforming to the exaggerated terrain.

At the intersection of two grids—one agricultural and one electrical—users delight in this kitsch, birds-eye view of the modern Indiana heartland.
